Message The difference of 8 HP between the two.
I also included the run right before the one you have also in SAE showing a peak PSI of 14.09 vs the 15.59 on run 11.

THESE are SAE corrected numbers that you should be able to get on other DYNOJET's.

The Mustang Dyno is known as the heartbreak dyno as they tend to read lower than any other dyno in the industry.

We only have 91 octane for our highest normal fuel here in California and it is not enough for a lot of us out here.
We have stations with 100 octane we can pump in just like 91.
Because these are small engines we can only make crazy power with higher boost levels and that requires higher octane.
We like to run Q-16 when we go to the track and many others do as well and that is why some folks tune for that fuel and the higher boost levels that are safe with that fuel.

On 93 Octane you can run 17 PSI PEAK with your tune.

I have run all the numbers and I have found the following.......

If you take the weight of the car and driver and do the math for a what it takes to move that weight the distance of a 1/4 mile at the final trap speed you come up with a horsepower number that is called the effective HP.

The rule of thumb is that Sticks have about a 15% driveline loss at the wheels over what would be measured at the motor.
The rule of thumb for a AUTO is a 20% drive line loss.

If I take the above info and use a dynojet to measure the RWHP and add the 15% stick and 20% auto, I have found on a turbo car the Standard Correction is just about always on the money when I calculate the effective power.
I have found on normally aspirated cars the SAE number is on the money.

I find the Mustang reads low on any standard.
The Dyno is really a tuning tool but I know everyone loves a number ;-)
